MODULE 1: The Implant Foundation
This module is designed to establish the mindset and techniques necessary to succeed. We start with the bone and soft tissue foundations at the time of extraction. Yes, implant treatment starts at the time of extraction. This module includes clinical technique and didactic videos, PDF downloads and direct access to Dr. Simon with your questions. MODULE 2: The Digital Implant Surgery - The Vision
Start with the end in mind. In module 2 we are focused on where your implants should go in the arch. Each implant has a ‘home.’ You’ll learn how to find that home so that your implants have the highest chance for success. You’ll also learn the three core concepts that must always be top of mind when assessing an implant site. Having the patient on board is the key to a great experience. I will share the success principles I use to treat some of the world’s most demanding patients here in Beverly Hills. I will get to the crux of obtaining true informed consent by providing you with the exact framework I use to communicate with patients and administer the surgeries.
MODULE 3: Implant Site Soft Tissue Development
You’ll learn how to treat sites that have compromised soft tissue and bone. You’ll learn to develop the deficient sites so that the implants you place have a better chance at long-term success. I will share clinical videos directly from my practice. You’ll be shown how I build attached gingiva (when it's lacking) step by step. Your understanding of how to assess implant sites will change forever once you understand the key factors that contribute to long-term implant health. You will get a detailed checklist to do free gingival graft surgeries with precision and predictability. You will learn to rehabilitate compromised implant sites and offer more quality care to your patients.
MODULE 4: The Implant Surgery
Covers the exact drilling protocol I use when placing implants. In this module I cover everything from A to Z —how to set up your room and how to instruct your team and better prepare them to help you. Detailed pre-surgery checklist will aid you in making sure that you have the proper tools and set up for a stress-free experience. Three core protocols will be covered: the pre-surgery preparation and numbing protocol, the exact drilling and placement protocol, and the trouble-shooting protocol for over and under prepared osteotomies. I will also share with you when you must abort and how to prevent nerve damage complications from happening. If they should occur, I tell you exactly what to do.
MODULE 5: Emergence Profile and Preparation for the Restorative Phase
This module provides you with a step-by-step surgical protocol for performing Stage 2 implant surgery. I also show you the frequent traps that doctors fall into when it comes to designing implant crowns so that you can avoid them. I also provide you with a PDF and a system for managing bone loss around implants.
MODULE 6: Long Term Maintenance and Implant Complication Management
This module covers the immediate post operative instructions, prescription, short- and long-term follow up and maintenance protocols. You want your work to last and serve the patient well. The devil is in the details. I will provide you with a post-operative care and maintenance framework that will give you the peace of mind that you are not missing anything that could compromise your implant success.
